Scores were feared dead as a
bomb exploded on
Monday afternoon, June 23, 2014 at the
premises of School of Hygiene, BUK road, Kano.










The high calibre improvised explosive device
went off aroud 2pm at a time the school was in
session.
The blast appeared to come from a parking lot
next to the provost’s office of the School of
Hygiene, a post-secondary training school, said
a teacher who requested anonymity.
Kano police spokesman, Magaji Magia
confirmed the blast but declined to provide
details until he reached the scene.
